The winners of the Thailand Property Awards 2010 were revealed at a glittering gala ceremony in Bangkok on Saturday night. More than 500 guests encompassing leading developers and agents from throughout Thailand gathered for what is widely recognised at the Oscars of the industry.

Winner:  Absolute

Absolute Developments claimed the award for Best Boutique Developer at the Thailand Property Awards last night, the statue was picked up by Bryan Lunt, Chairman and CEO of Absolute World Group of Companies at the glittering prize giving event in Bangkok. Absolute was selected for its track record of completing good quality projects in Phuket during a difficult period in the market. Absolute Developments also received a High Commendation for it’s Absolute Bangla Suites development.

Although property is seen to be in the doldrums, more than 5o0 people turned out for the dinner and awards. There were 1400 entries in the 29 categories, double last year’s number.

Terry Blackburn, Chief Executive Officer of organisers Ensign Media said: “This was the fifth year of the Thailand Property Awards, and the standard of competition just gets better and better. This year we received more nominations and more entries than ever before and that speaks volumes about the state of the property and real estate industry in Thailand.”
