Your journey can start here by signing up and adding your voice to the hundreds of millions across the globe who have already spoken with their actions. Check out the inspiring Earth Hour 2011 video below to see what the planet’s voice looks like.

What will you celebrate for Earth Hour 2011?
Earth Hour, 8.30pm, Saturday 26th March 2011 In under four short years, Earth Hour has become the largest campaign in history for the planet. It has grown from one city, one country to over 128 countries and territories in 2010. If you can achieve this, imagine what else can be done.

On March 26th 2011 an anticipated total of more than 1 billion people from 223 countries around the world will switch off all non-essential lights and electronic appliances between 8.30 and 9.30pm local time in support of the fifth annual Earth Hour.

What started as a project between the WWF and The Sydney Morning Herald in 2007 has become a global tradition and the 2011 hour expected to be bigger than ever before as part of an ongoing campaign to raise awareness about climate change.

Next Saturday all 27 global Absolute offices will once again join an anticipated total of more than 1 billion people from 223 countries around the world to switch off all non-essential lights and electronic appliances between 8.30pm and 9.30pm, local time, in support of the fifth annual WWF Earth Hour.

WWF’s aim is to build a future where people live in harmony with nature and Earth Hour has done a lot to raise awareness of sustainability issues. But, there’s more to it than switching off lights for one hour, once a year. This Earth Hour we want to go beyond the hour, so after the lights go back on think about what else we can do to make a difference. Together our actions add up to SAVE OUR PLANET.
